Decision Research

conducts basic and applied research in decision-making, risk analysis and communication, and statistical methodology.  His current work is focused on the development of risk assessment tools and methods for the effective presentation of uncertainty in risk analyses and political forecasts.  He is also involved in several projects relating individual differences in numerical ability to decision making performance.  Recent work in the area of statistics has focused on the use of meta-analytic methods in the behavioral sciences.
