Sustainability
Most advocates of sustainable development recognize the need for changes in human values, attitudes, and behaviors in order to meet human needs, reduce hunger and poverty, and maintain healthy ecosystems (National Research Council, 1999). Our research investigates values, attitudes, and behaviors that are crucial to sustainability.

Value Elicitation
Our principal investigators work with environmental managers, policy organizations, individual stakeholders, and communities to facilitate information integration from different sources of knowledge (scientific, indigenous, local resource users) to improve information collection and environmental decision making.
